I don't have Sion farmed yet so I haven't used Zalp in arena. Instead I've been using JTR(L), zzR2, zzBB-8, Thrawn, and either CLS, GK, or Talzin. This team won't get me past #115 in my shard...Should...

That team is beaten by all sorts of comps. On a launch shard it would be eaten alive, especially given the lack of gear, zetas, and stars. My guess is you are on a newer shard, not a launch shard. Either that or you're on a shard that has almost entirely given up.
