Commander Luke Skywalker
Any speculation where in the trilogy this character will take place? Sounds like the end of the third film.

To be fair, commander Luke must have Jedi tag.
The Ahsoka Tano character that we have is around 15 years old. She was discovered by Plo Koon and brought to the Jedi Temple at Coruscant when she was around 3. So even though she's officially a padawan, she's had over a decade of training and preparation.
Luke's training consisted of blocking a few training bot laser shots with a lightsaber before Obi-Wan's death. He doesn't receive any other training until after he's a commander on Hoth.
So the two are not really the same at all.
