Confusing Situation with Kylo Ren

Question

I just went against a fully G12 First Order Team with KRU (L), FOS, FOO, Kylo Ren and CLS and defeated any of them pretty easily. First CLS, then KRU, then FOO, then FOS and at last I wanted to go against Kylo Ren, I had my whole team of CLS, Raid Han, Legend Chewy, R2 And Thrawn and I used all my abilities against him, however he just regained protection back with every single hit I did. He just took everything without loosing any health and that around 2 and a half minutes, just couldn't penetrate his defense and protection regain.

After the battle I read his Kit and I kinda can't figure out why he was so unbelievable Tanky, could someone explain to me what just happened?

It was KRU's leadership. - When a FO get a status effect they gain 5% protection and 5% Health.

With the team you were running, they all have some form of status they apply hence why you were seeing the regen.

On top of that, Kylo Ren gains defense every time he takes damage which lasts for 1 turn. With Han, CLS, and Thrawn slowing and removing TM, he probably never took a turn when it was 1v5. His defense skyrocketed to the point that you were doing less damage than his regen.

It explains why he got more protection with every Hit, even those that were hitting harder than 5%. Anyways, thank you guys for your great Help! ^~^

Yeah, it's not worth it. Same situation with nest. Leave her or kylo for last and it's annoying.Jtr is worth using against maxed first order.

Like, I wiped them away like nothing, only the Kylo Ren took it like a champ. Well, at least I know now why I had no chance! ?
