Counters against NS and Nest

Palpatine or Traya led Sith teams are great counters to Nightsisters with Nest. They combine effective area damage with Nihilus’ ability to annihilate.

I should have mentioned I have used them for other battles and I am left with IT and Galactic republic. With IT, issue is their Daka and Talzin have better speeds

Get as much speed as you can on Starck, and use his middle special as his opening move. You'll get a decent TM boost on the rest of your team and hopefully move before any of them.

They'll still struggle against NS/Nest though, Nest is there to shut down the TM gain, and Imperial Troopers are kinda screwed when that happens. Are you using Thrawn elsewhere?

Traya has been the most effective way of shutting them down for me personally. What do you normal save your Traya squad for?

If you think it's likely they put nestsisters out a good bh team can walk all over them.

IT shouldn't struggle, even against a team with Nest. Veers, starck, snow, shore and deathtrooper are all you need.

Your starck should be faster than Nest though. If you have the zeta on starck even better. When its deathtroopers turn use his aoe and that will push back Nest's daze even longer.

This team has never lost to a NS +Nest. Starck is at 263 speed so nothing too crazy.

I would argue that Starck's zeta is more of a luxury item here. It's nice to get that bit of extra edge over the other team, but most times you should be gaining enough TM from Veers's zeta that they never get a turn anyway.

I don't know if Padme is good or not but Imperial Troopers is the universal solve for NS. Against any formation of NS, use Veers, Starck, Shore, Snow and Range. Veers and Starck require zetas and Starck should be fast.

If they throw Nest in there, swap Snow for Death. Death's deathmark will end Nest eventually.

Just don’t try it against a G13 team. I learned that the hard way ?

That only proves that you haven't faced a proper NS team yet, not that Troopers are a rock solid counter to NS.
My Daka (and obviously AV too) would go before your team for instance, and there are far better NS than mine in my guild. One-two stuns in the oppening round from Daka push back the first kill of Troopers far enough to get the NS team going, even without Nest (especially when Shore's taunt is dispelled before Daka moves).

With that being said, it's somewhat easier to get IT faster than NS, but G12+ pieces are still arguably a better investment on an NS team and in most cases it will give an edge to them over Troopers.
