Darth Nihilus - Annihilate ability in Raids question

I was curious what DNs Annihilate ability does in either the Pit or Tank raid. I imagine that it doesn't take down either target but would it do a max damage? Curious about adding him into my Zader team.

Also the same question would be viable for Savage's Overpower ability.
