Darth Nihilus GW arena cooldown fail?

I might be missing something, but why isn't his annihilate cooldown carrying over in to the next battle? When tm etc. does for other characters?
As i'm a FTP at level 85 i'm never going to get him at 6 or 7* for ages so he is no good for raids, too slow for arena to use that ability and looking like no good for gw either.
So an absolute useless character unless you have money to spend. or we have some more events like the jedi power one
  • The devs said it would reset with each new encounter, every gw node is being treated as a new encounter (for nihilus anyway) although I don't think it's right it is wai, according to them.
  • Seems fine by me. If you're relying on annihilate then there are other issues. It'd be too easy manipulate. I think the devs made a good choice with it not carrying over

    This isn't a "carries it's cooldowns over" issue, it's correctly following the character's "this ability starts on cooldown." Just like Han Solo will always Shoot First, regardless of what his turn meter was at the end of the previous node. Boba Fett will always start with Bounty Hunter's Resolve, whether he had it or not at the end of the previous node. Baze/Shoretrooper will always start with Taunt.

    Not true at all, I've used annihilate several times on the harder nodes since he came out, I do wish the ability carried over from nose to node but in a way that would be a bit op for gw.
