Does anyone know what the Developers were thinking when they okay'd Nihilus' Lead Zeta? It's going along ok, nothing mindblowingly good about it, and then all of a sudden at the end it says, "and Sith allies can't crit." ... Why did they soil his zeta like this? It's not like Sith hit especially early or hard, even with crits.

Umm... you do realize the "Cannot Crit" part is included in his lvl 1 leader ability, right? This has nothing to do with the zeta. The zeta is bad regardless of the critting, as it only adds 50% health steal.
Someone ought to remind you that a Leader Ability doesn't need to be a zeta, even at Level 8. Well, that renders your entire reply mute now doesn't it. ?
Then why complain about his zeta, when the part of the leadership you don't like is unrelated to the zeta level. Why did you level up a lead that made it so your characters could not crit on the Lvl 1 ability?
☝️I'm rarely caught off guard by such incomprehension. The dismay lies in the Leader Ability having a zeta attached to it at all. If it did not have a zeta, it would be just another weak Leader Ability that may be serviceable in the rarest of circumstances.
There was considerable misunderstanding about this one zeta in particular as it wasn't made clear how other sith who regenerate protection would fare under this Leader Ability which converts protection to health prior to battle. Even now, players are still unclear as to whether Dooku's zeta (replenishing protection in part) still fully applies under a DN lead in the form of added health or not. I don't believe it does. But I could be wrong.
The zeta is largely considered dated. Will it ever hold value or be improved? Possibly, but what I object to is people making an honest mistake (due to lack of proper information being provided to them) in a pretty hard world, and not being provided a means of setting things right. The responsibility in some cases is at least shared if not owned by the provider.
you are dismayed there is a zeta on the L. Why? Who knows? Then you say there is a misunderstanding about the zeta, which, again, has nothing to do with the zeta and is instead about part of the leadership ability, which, again, the zeta doesn't affect. So what you object to is people making an honest mistake, about what we still can't figure out, because, again, the zeta doesn't affect the part of the leadership that you claim is causing all these people confusion. So you think people (which I can only assume includes you, but, again, the zeta doesn't affect the part of the leadership that you have confusion about) deserve a refund because the zeta, which, again, doesn't affect that part of the leadership, is...uh...I don't even know anymore. What is happening??
It's sheer agony reading the stupidity of your reply. I answer your questions, I differentiate between the ability being bearable but that it shouldn't require a zeta, and I even point out to you just ONE of a few things that many players required better information on, but you remain determined to not only be a contrarian, but act as though you know nothing of my post.
The zeta does not have to have anything to do with the part of the ability that isn't explained. Try (and I know this is hard for you) to see the zeta requirement, the lack of explanation on the ability, and the ability itself, as SEPARATE justifications. In the meantime, I'll say a prayer for you with the greatest belief that it couldn't make things any worse.
If nobody can understand the logic of a post, there’s a good chance it’s the messenger’s fault.
I find it ironic you mention the ambiguous, poorly crafted ability descriptions being difficult for many to comprehend.
Change "post" to "threads."
A bunch of you enjoy making things harder for yourselves. #1 - Your first sentence supports criticism of the ability definition (not because it's difficult, but because it omits) #2 - My post is easy to see the merits of, if you SLOW DOWN, read all of it, and separate your unceasing hope that my zeta, ability, and lack of description talk are conflated, from the reality that they are not. I clearly discuss these components separately.
