This. I ran Nihilus lead for about 8 months, and the second they reworked Palp and Vader, it was MUCH better to run Palp lead. I will say that Nihilus lead is great for TB and Raids, but not so much for Arena.

Nihlas lead works great in phase 1 of the Sith raid because it helps stop nihlas from regaining protection and it allows your sith to use their protection as health but for arena palp lead is much better.

Nihilus was my longtime leader on arena. Never got me better than 300ish in the rankings so I went for Zader who got me below 200. Of course with the rework the logic step is move to palp since already had those 3 well geared.

The greatest thing: survivability (for sith allies)
The bitter side: damage output

One good thing to say is that in the early days only a nihilus lead would get me a whole galactic war or a sith assault battle complete.

I still use full sith Nihilus lead on TB when there’s more than one battle to play however it is no longer arena viable. At least if you want to be top 500
