It's a balancing act. There are a lot of contradiction in their kit. Look at Traya. Her basic deals every debuff on all allies and inflicts it on the enemy, but her unique cleanses Sith allies at the start of their turn. So, she won't inflict that many debuffs after all.
When you look at the synergy between the Triumvirate members, you see it's not really synergy at all. Each of them gains power for himself when the other two are hurt.
Which is fine. Nihilus had a spot on the meta since the day he arrived. Sion is already becoming a part. Traya looks incredible. But none of them break the game. Because those are the mechanics that keep the game balanced, even with them in it.
