Dealing with the droids.

if the team doesn't have a tank, you should be able to win easily. If they do, dispel the taunt and then win easily. Droids hit hard but if you survive their initial attack(s), they pose no threat.

I was pretty afraid of them at first as well! When I finally fought one I was surprised at how well it went. My team is based on high health bonus attacks and counters and it worked great against them. Effectively you just need to survive the first initial blast (high health), hit them as you can during the wave (counters) and then hit them back when it's your turn.

I run Phasma g10, Secura g10, Dooku g10, Fives g9 and Ren g9. Lowest health is Dooku at 25k health but the rest are 35k+ health so they make it through the first wave fine and can even sometimes kill 88 with the amount of counters and bonus attacks I can get out.

I'm only half joking though. I haven't used him in the arena, but I have used a Ima-Gun Di lead with Jedi against droids and he mows through them like a hot knife through butter. If you use both of these Jedi, I think you would have good results.

You must be seriously joking...

Droids are pretty RNG dependent IMO. They either kill me before I can go or they are easily handled. If you really want to focus on a decent droid team Tanky char or dodge lead would work. I think having RG is a must. A old Ben lead, fives, RG is a good start

Currently running Barris L, 5s, RG, FOTP, and leia.. Tried vs a tankless droid team and only lost RG.. Maybe I've been a bit over scared but they do still blow me up sometimes with the right 86 assist

Then I go again and 88 crits every single aoe attack, assist, basic and bonus.. Fock
