How many things in the dev post relate to death trooper? How many things in the dev post relate to raid? I understand the confusion as crumb was not direct with the statement even the second time. There is not a secret Illuminati meaning but it definitely 100% says “in raids”. The description for terminate didn’t change and the description of kill order did. DTs death mark is still just a health reducing debuff. It’s about death mark used by raid boss only nothing more, not in pvp not in tw but in raids, raids only.
I guess we will just have to disagree then.
How can they change the Raid description to state DM will prevent revives when it has stated that for a very long time? That is the first part of your argument that makes no sense. The Raid description already and has, for a long time, stated everything about the Raid version of deathmark (except that it is removed by stealth) that deathmark in the Raid should be doing.
So the question is what ability description is changing about preventing revives if the Raid version already stated it as such? Making something state the same thing it already did is not a change/update. The Raid version description as far as revive goes hasn't been incomplete so how can it be updated? This must mean he is talking about another ability description of DM not the Raid version since the Raid version is and has been correct in how it should interact with DM. - troll on bro

Got it you can't have a discussion. Now it all makes sense
Have a great day. - crzydroid7 years agoHero (Retired)@3pourr2 as you've been told multiple times in this thread and in the other one, nothing in raids was changed. Crumbs post has nothing to do at all with the raid, and everything to do with DT.
You are reading these two words, "in raids." You are not reading all the other words around it, which give context to those two words. He said they want to update DT's Deathmark description to be like the one that has always been in raids. Everyone else is able to understand this. Look past those two words and read everything else around them. - Can you show me please?
This was a fix and yet DTs description did not change . Why? @crzydroid. Why did @CG_SBCrumb screen shot a raid description and not DTs?- scuba757 years agoLegend

Neither description has been changed. SBcrumb said one of them needs to be updated, as in hasn't happened yet.
That bug fix was a result of this bug report which is about DT DM not that raid DM (however it was probably happening in the Raid also)

The 2 DM should be acting the same.
CG tends to not re-describe a debuff/buff that was already in the game and described elsewhere unless it does something different. Examples
EP shock and Dooku shock. They explain shock in EP use of it but not dooku
Sabine armor shred and Zaalbar armor shred. They explain armor shred in Sabine use of it but not Zaal - That isn’t a bug though death by terminate is what blocks revive, death mark reduces health. If that’s what they are changing then it’s based on a false bug report and misunderstanding of the terminate ability. Raid bosses abilities usually get a boost so they do differentiate from actual toons.

It was reported, acknowledged as a bug and fixed as it was done with the last content update.
How can the development team misunderstand the intention of a debuff they designed? Can they bugger up the release of it sure however they know what they want it to do which in this case is they want DT DM to stop revives. I don't know how many bug reports you have seen but if an ability is working as intended then it is closed as such.
I don't understand why you are so against DT DM preventing revives as it has done in the past.
Why is it not possible that both terminate and DM stop revives as the mechanics show they both do?
DT DM has 1 place in game that describes his deathmark and guess what it says
DM in raid and DT has been one of the most bugged debuffs in the game and those bugs are all around not stopping revives properly. - scuba757 years agoLegendI think I might have found where the disconnet is @3pourr2 .
You believe this is official and correct (if that is not the case than sorry I don't know where you are getting you info about DM)
However it is definitely not official. It from a fan/player made site. There is not an official site with all the de-buffs listed and what they should be doing.
