Death Trooper: good for empire team?

I generally use Shore w/ the Empire team for his heal + crit immunity and then run Veers/Starck/Snow/Range/DT as the trooper squad. A fast trooper squad doesn't need a tank as it will just run right over most teams it outspeeds.
