Maybe not a huge short term gain but with episode 8 released later that year, resistance and first order teams are bound to be extended this year and then you'll be in a prime position.
Besides, you Zeta'd the toon you enjoy using.. I run an FO team. I think it's more fun to play the team you want to than run a generic cookie cutter team :)
