Different shard for Ship Battles?
I'm noticing that I notice...no one...from my shard for normal arena. Did we get pooled into another group? Kind of sucks to lose any type of rivalry if that's the case. Can someone clarify?

Using team power to sort out shards isn't entirely accurate as some have grinded their way up while others bought it much faster. The point is EA would have to add a secondary sort referencing spending to achieve the shards people seem to think they should be on. Not sure that is feasible or will ever happen.
