Does how you do in GAC in week 1 affect week 2 matchmaking?

If you were to win all 3 of your GAC matches in week one, are you paired up with people who also did well in their GACs last week? Or vice versa, if you lost all 3 do you get paired up with people who didn't do as well in their last GAC week

Not an issue or anything, just curious
  • You league is one of the parameters (along with division and matchmaking GP).

    This.

    Nothing about things like win record or anything play into it.

    So it is true. It is better to manage your banner gain to avoid hitting Bronzium after the first season.

    I feel like that would take way too much brain power for me lol

    I think this post is overthinking the original post.

    OP = "Are you matched with harder people as you do better during the tournament?"

    Kyno = "Stats matter, yes."

    Anterio = " I knew it! All my suspicions are true!"

    Yes, overshooting banners puts you at greater risk of being out-paired. You can't avoid that though, inevitably. If there is a better player than you in terms of roster and play, then you will likely face him. The matching is not as broken as people whine about. It is not designed for you to = win. It is designed to make you lose unless you play well.
