Additionally, this game isn’t going to be around forever - probably not as long as it would take to max every character without spending. If you aren’t super competitive and just play for fun and to collect characters, I’d say save yourself the pain of the starting over. Early progression is seriously snail-paced and, well.. boring.

And it's totally your opinion that this game won't be around long enough for OP to benefit from a restart.
Also, where did you get the data showing that the majority of new players are actually existing players with new accounts?
