There's a droid team on my February '16 shard that can still get Top 10, but he's the only one. Really fast with B-2 to debuff.
Droids are still super useful, though. My droids now are getting me over 1 mill damage in Phase 2 of HAAT. They are great for GW, especially early on.
And I wouldn't be shocked to see them get buffed down the road, maybe with the introduction of R2?
