Empire team after Phoenix

Pilots. Farm pilots. TFP is great because he overlaps between Fleet and Empire. Gear Vader up. Go for Tarkin when you can. Start on FOTP right now. Boba from Cantina is a Scoundrel (credit heist, CC mods) and a pilot. Dark side pilots get you to zeta farming at level 78. A strong fleet in top 20 or higher gets you 100+ crystals per day.

EP and Thrawn will come back around, everyone with strong Phoenix teams will drift over to strong Empire teams, it'll be fairly seamless. But a lot of people will flail about in Ships because they don't have a plan.

It will suffer from the lack of a quality leader. I'm sure it can work to some degree but it won't be top 10 viable.

So what's Your advice to make the best team from them in top 10?
I can choose Vader, Snowtrooper, Stormtrooper, Veers and TFP or maybe remove one of them for other option. Please give me some examples of the best possible team from them first and then with addition of Emperor Palpatine and Thrawn or maybe other advices because I need to do some choice right now. Maybe the rebel team is better with Lando, STH and others for the arena?

G12 and 7 dot mods can make any team look good.

Not a chance with Troopers, and I love them!

Best use of mostly troopers is:

Zzthrawn / zEP
Storm
Shore
Death
Zzthrawn / zEP

Don't trust videos - they tend to be outliers.

Imp trooper teams can be effective on offense but are absolutely trash under the AI. In addition, you must have the zeta on Veers to even be of use offensively. Don't get me wrong.....they are great for certain things in the game (GW, DSTB, hard counter against Nightsisters) but they will be a detriment to you in the arena and will paint a target on your back causing you to plummet in rank

Phoenix are the dominant arena team before level 70 these days and can hold a bit after that with a gear and level advantage (which if you have been top 10 since the beginning you will have).

In my November shard there are currently 6 teams in the top 30

Palpatine lead empire
KRU lead first order
Thrawn lead empire
Wiggs lead rebels
Rex lead
Tarkin lead empire

All the empire lead teams have Palpatine in them and most have thrawn in them. An empire team need at least one of the event characters to act as a big gun to keep up with other teams.
