Enfys Nest Bug or Exploit or Bad Programming?

So this is my experience going against Enfys Nest. My question is whether this is a cheat, a bug, an exploit or just really really bad beta testing that didn’t catch this effect with the zeta: b...

Nest gain 40% bonus protection per hit until the next turn. So Nest never losing protection. But, on next turn disaper all bonus protection. Then kill with keeped powerful attack.
