Enfys Nest

This is not an Enfys Nest is OP. I've beaten Nest before, but I've started to notice an unfun trend in my arena lately.

In order to beat Nest, the other 4 enemies need to be strong enough, that you can spread hits among the other enemy team members. However, I've started to notice that Nest teams with weaker teammates perform better than Nests with stronger teammates.

With weaker teammates, suddenly, the other enemies don't last long enough to get good shots in on Nest when her protection goes down. Instead, you are forced to hit the one enemy you don't want to over and over and over again. Then it comes down to dumb luck if you get countered into oblivion or manage to squeeze out enough damage when her shield goes down.

The slower Nest is, the better this works out. You actually don't want Nest to take turns.

This is just an unfun tactic. Feels a lot like pre-rework Zombie did, but worse. It isn't unbeatable, but it just feels random and unnecessarily frustrating.

  • But we have gotten way off topic from what op was talking about lol...nest is a very good character and his kit works well in a lot of lineups....I dont use him myself except in smuggler events and tw but some of my guildmates use him in scoundrel teams in arena with success

Her. Enfys is a her. But yes - I love Nest. Use her everywhere I can - even in my CLS arena team.

Just wondering (as Enfys is an option for me), does it somehow help to keep blasting Enfys' allies while her protection is down vs. blasting her directly? This is only sense I could make of her benefitting from having weak teammates. But also, how weak are we talking?

Basically enfys heals from counters and stacks protection, so the tactic is hit enfys once or twice (until her bonus protection is so high that you cant hurt her) then switch to another target until enfy takes a turn (and loses her bonus protection). Rinse and repeat slowly chewing down Nest until you can get a big hit on her.

Another tactic is stun and stack debuffs (works best with DOT team, zVader, cancerous, etc, and thrawn to fracture) and use something like boba execute or Vader culling blade to OHKO her right after she gets a turn

How so? It might revive if you use culling blade, but execute blocks revive
