Ewoks: Underrated?

I've been playing for awhile now (Level 81) and have noticed a lot of hate on the forums towards the ewok faction. However, my experiences with an ewok squad have been great. In fact, I couldn't finish a galactic war until I had a full squad of them.

The squad I'm currently using is: Teebo lead (G9 7*) with Chirpa (G8 5*) Scout (G8 5*), Elder (G8 6*) and Paploo (G8 3*) which seems like a very underwhelming squad on paper. The synergy is crazy how good it can be if the abilities are timed correctly though. Many times I've been able to dominate (full health and zeroed cooldowns on all ewoks) teams with a much higher power rating.

Paploo was the key to surviving the first turn of the opposing team (which usually there is only 4 or 3 left).

I have to imagine there are other players who have an ewok squad that is more powerful (and may have better synergy).

What ewok squad do you use?

Are you farming any of the new ewoks?

How viable is an ewok squad for HAAT raids?

Whoa...that's a heck of a squad there! Great to hear they are viable against a lot of the meta teams. I have a little ways to go to catch up to a squad like that though :)

What * levels you have them at?

I feel like not having them 7* really hurts them, they need the stat boosts..

I fool around anywhere from 1-50 in arena on a launch shard and back when I tried them they were all G10/11 with ZETAs on chirp and wicket but it was underwhelming.

Enjoy drawing against zbarris teams and 2 tapped by zolo. Or 1 shot countered by cls. God this game makes no sense. To answer your question you can win on offense but on Defense you will drop quicker than a bag of potatoes thrown from the empire State building. Underated maybe. Consistently viable no.

I Faced a g12 Ewok squad in TW , it did Some serious damage

I run a g12 zetaed ewok team with wicket at 6* and love them in tb, tw (as offense) and aat but just find them unless against meta teams in the arena. They are a great addition to the roster but can be frustratingly bad in higher level pvp. Overall I'm glad I focused on them but wish they could be useful in all phases of the game.
