Ezra vs Sabine who is better for offense?

So having had worked on Ezra for a while now I'm beginning to not like him so much. Aside from the fact that I see very little use from his unique ability as it doesn't seem to be doing anything in the sense of boosting team offense. Sabine on the other hand does more with her unique with boosted critical chance and damage and appears to be more effective in the offensive department where Ezra seems to fail miserably. My only problem is that I never finished Sabine up to 7 stars yet so what I'd like to know is if she is worth the trouble and if she'd be a better replacement for Ezra on a Phoenix team.
