Farming Grievous
Right now I only see his shards in the shard store. It's quite expensive with 1.2k shards for just 5 shards. Is there other ways to get him without dumping massive amount into shard store?

I think it's a matter of speed. It's much more resource efficient to get him in the fleet store, but he doesn't show up there very often - it's like farming Logray or Jyn from the guild shop where you might not see him at all for a couple days. I've been grabbing him there when I see him for a couple months, but I still only have him at 64/65, with the odd shards being from the occasional GW drop.
If you're willing to sacrifice shard currency for a while, though, you can max him out relatively quickly and just be done with it.
