Finn zeta question

Take a look at Resistance Trooper’s passive ability. Then Poe’s taunt and Pilot’s special.

With those abilities exposing lots of folks repeatedly you can frequently win battles without the other team getting a turn.

When an enemy takes damage from expose, reduce all Resistance cooldowns by 1 and grant them 35% turn meter.

Considering Poe can potentially expose every enemy while removing turn meter with RT, RP and Finn also capable of exposing....

Long story short imagine a team that has no cooldowns on special abilities (if rng is nice) and 100% TM.

Because you can beat teams without having them take a turn.

Press auto and complete any event thrown at you.

Win on offense in arena nearly always.

Enter phase 4 HAAT, press auto (with BB8 in your squad) and auto the entire phase.

Finn has the best zeta in the game imo. But I run a resistance team so....

Completely agree. One of, if not the best. I’ve been running resistance with zFinn lead for awhile in GW and TB. Phase 6 in TB, no enemy takes a turn for all 6 waves when I run Resistance. That includes full elites on wave 6. In GW for the past several months, Resistance can run the table of all 12 nodes without retreating. That includes fighting G12 CLS squads. Resistance is the absolute best squad on offense with zeta on Finn. The TM gain allows you to keep the enemy from ever taking a turn.

Great in HAAT
Clears GW (probably super overkill now from what we are hearing)
Rarely required in TB, but will always go 6/6

Even better with bb8.

All of this with second rate mods and g9 ish gear.

Why wouldn't you.

Definitely best single zeta team, and best overall zeta investment.

Currently trying to gear up a resistance team; is gear 9 a good stopping point for everyone? zFinn ok at gear 8? Where would you recommend gear levels for HAAT raid?

They are definitely viable at G8 and G9, you’ll have to be careful and exit in and out a lot if you get bad RNG. Poe is the main character to gear up though since he will be absorbing the majority of any damage you took as he is constantly taunting with his special.

You should range from 500k damage (bad RNG) to 1.2 mil (great RNG) with those gear levels in the HAAT for P2 or P4. High potency mods help to give you better RNG, and you’ll eventually start leveling them up once you use him more. His zeta is definitely one of the most fun and strategic in the game. Using resistance has actually taught me some things about targeting that I’ve incorporated into my other teams.
