I'm using Finn zeta lead in arena now too, only one in the top 50 of my ladder :-) I've got Finn and Poe gear 11, Rey and Trooper gear 10. I've mainly used Palpatine as the 5th, but as pointed out earlier, he seems to get frozen in time while the rest of the team rolls. Occasionally, he'll get me out of trouble with good rng on his AoE stun, but otherwise doesn't do a lot.
I'm curious what kind of damage everyone sees from their Trooper at gear 11? Mine is a couple days of cuff farming away, and I'm hoping for a big upgrade once I get him there. The character description reads "can deal heavy damage to debuffed enemies" but I'm almost certain I've never seen even a 10k hit from him, even on an expose. On the other hand, having a dispel almost on demand and getting constant turns is what's best about him, so maybe it balances out.
