Both are solid and you’ll want to gear both teams eventually, but there is one major thing to consider:
Episode IX is right around the corner, and there are likely to be additions to the FO that make them more “modern” than NS.
NS are a little stronger defensively, mostly because counters to KRU are well-known and rarely fail. If you DO decide to go NS, zAV is a lot stronger on defense than zMT at end-game, so specifically if using for defense you want to build around zAV. Spirit is better than Acolyte as she does WAY more damage at end-game, and gains TM on her basic... along with adding to the massive amount of stunlock that NS can bring. Under zAV, she will proc the 50% TM gain from leadership a lot more often than Acolyte, while frequently being healed back to full health... ultimately taking substantially more turns than acolyte.
