Go to GooglePlay (you sound more like an Apple fan, but I digress) and install the game. Be a big trooper and get through the tutorial, make sure you go through the whole thing. If you need tips on how to get started, there's lots of good info here on the forum.

After all that, go back to the appstore (right?), and UNINSTALL.
Then install Pokemon Go, because that is obviously more your style of game. Thank me later.

Pokemon isn't my style I really dislike the tv show and the game. What doesn't make sense about it is that some kid throwing a ball at some creature in the woods who is minding their own business gets captured in something small that nothing can realistically fit inside unless you hugely break logic or it's just poorly made. I knows it's a cartoon but it's the most horrible animation that I have seen ever. I don't watch it but I know what it is. People also get killed or injured because of the game due to motorists driving while looking focusing on the game.
