At the end of the line there may well need to be some character balancing for more than just Fives as various 76-78-80 rank 8 skills unlock, but at least try and think up in game solutions for a little bit before instantly saying everything needs nerfs after your first battle or two.

Edit: I have found that only people who try to justify broken that are actually running broken characters. Buddy, when 1 toon can kill 3 with little to no effort, only just being there, you know something's wrong!

Fives gets to gear 9 without pre-crafting, so people are likely playing against more gear 9 Fives than gear 9 other toons. In a gear 9 world (coming in a few days), he's *barely* viable in arena as is. And he's basically worthless if the opposing team keeps a stunner alive until the end (a stunner can beat him 1v1). He seriously could not withstand even a tiny nerf without dropping out of arena play completely (in the top 20).
Let's see:
Lumi - max gear lvl 74
QGJ - max gear lvl 74 (gear lvl 9)
GS - max gear lvl 74 (gear lvl 9)
RG - max gear lvl 74 (gear lvl 9 but 4*)
Dooku - max gear lvl 74
All toons that I use in either arena or GW are max geared & most are lvl70.
The problem wasn't dealing with anyone else, it was just dealing with fives & his damage output with every shot he took as counter. The counter is not the problem, the fact that he has extra damage on an almost guaranteed counter... That & im sure he can have less damage regardless...
... and maybe you should read what I said. I didn't say it was inconceivable that some characters would need nerfs. I did say that perhaps players should try more than not at all to counter-play what causes them issues. Most people fought what, 1-3 battles before coming here and screaming bloody murder? Almost all without having omega skills themselves. Also sarcasm... to quote my good friend Inigo Montoya "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
Also for general reference, this game has, but does not make the tag distinction for, what are generally considered Bruisers or Soft Tanks. Durable characters with disruptive or damaging abilities that function as a"soft taunt" punishing players for ignoring them. These characters are spread across all three tags in this game rather than given a tag of there own.
Fives is tagged tank, Aayla Secura is tagged support, Kylo Ren is tagged attacker, but they are all bruisers.
