FOST's zeta can only proc once in each chain of attacks, but if he was called by an ability assist (as opposed to a lead or unique assist), he could attack twice.

For example, QGJ uses his assist attack and it calls FOST. He attacks, and this triggers and assist from his zeta. Phasma's lead could also call him to assist, leading him to attack twice, and each team he attacks he can potentially call an assist.

I've been trying different comps in GW to test this, using Ezra to call an assist makes it easier since you can choose FOST to assist. I know it seems complicated, but just remember that Phasma can trigger one assist per turn, but FOST can trigger an assist any time he attacks, counters or taunts.

So based on this, we came up with what we are pretty sure is the maximum amount of attacks possible using Phasma and Zeta FOST.

GK does Lead the Charge, calling all 5 toons, with double attack from FOTP and triple from Leia which gives us 8.
This procs FOST's zeta, calling Leia for 3, bringing it to 11.
Phasma lead also procs off of GK, calling FOST again for 1 more to make 12, and this procs FOST's zeta AGAIN, and he calls Leia for another 3, for a total of 15 attacks.

Yes, FOST can be triggered twice. This particular would never happen of course, but it is possible.

And then We decided to use Sabine which is even more ahahah

Unofficially of course, you could get another 6 attacks, but that would really be a streak of RNG something like accidentally slipping in a convenience store and knocking the gun out of the hand of a guy about to rob the place and the bullet perfectly scratches a winning lotto ticket.

You're forgetting about Aayla as well. Counters & calls assists on basic.

Didn't forget, just wasn't familar with her kit enough to theorize about it. Can she call assists when she is assisting? What about when she counters? If so, she basically already has the FOST zeta ability, just with a slightly lower chance to call.

So, assuming she could call an assist as part of Lead the Charge, she would take FOTP's place.

Edit:this is in a full fo squad,if you have toons like aayla she can also call assists on basic

Yeah, we know. We run First Order, just thinking up ridiculous scenarios that could theoretically happen and what the maximum assists and attacks would be.
