Come on, you have it easy nowadays.
I farmed him casually for over a year now, with only two hard nodes at three attempts each. Now you have double drops and five hard node attempts.
This is a fremium game, so time or money, pick the currency you want to spend, and have fun playing the game. I missed Yoda and Palpatine a few times myself, hasn't really impacted my gameplay in any meaningful way.
