I've received a good question from someone who respectfully PM'd it to not be rude by "questioning" it in the thread. Much appreciated, but I'd like to share the Q and A as it seems helpful!
Q: Why Potency over Crit Dmg/Crit chance for 5s?
A: It's always preferences preferred and shard/server dependent, BUT, we find raids req fives to have more potency- in arena you can usually cheese less (given your opp doesn't use tenacity, which is rare) - so you don't need to usually focus pot for 5s in arena, and can go ahead and make him more of a damaging monster! Of course, we advised crit damage and crit chance sets that had the best speed and potency though, since it is a beneficial stat.
