Future HK lead vs. Grievous lead
Looking for speculation. GG leads separatist droids while HK leads assassin droids. If they "rework" HK that suggests improving him. What will they rework about him though? He has a great leader...

They might not even rework HK, instead shepherding in a new Separatist crew. A reworked GG, b2, magna, then new Droideka and b1 is a full team, and there are already good droid options to sub in for them (L3, R2, bb8)
That said, I hope HK gets a total rework and joins the OR squad. I don't think it's gonna happen tho
