G12 Guide?

G12 generally seems like an awful node farm. Googled answers suggest that you either get things like stun guns through raids or use crystals to buy from shop. It seems like the 33% drop rate is ...

I've actually started to farm carbs from a normal energy node. Most purple gear is on a 10 node but for some reason carbs also have one 8 node.

Rewards and reworks?
Ever 7 star a character just for it to get reworked and loose 3 to 4 stars on it and only get 1500 purple shards it's not a fair trade at all I rush to get the new characters only to have them stole...
