G12 meta theorycrafting

After seeing the raw destructive power that is leia in CLS led teams...

Im wondering how devastating she will be once zeta'd & g12

Cls lead - dispel + buff immunity
Leia - main cannon
Ezra - calls leia + dispel
Hera - calls leia + pre-emptive revive
Chirrut - heal over time/cleanse/hp equalization

I just used this team to destroy the 1st 10 nodes of GW to incredible effect with hera/ezra at g9 my cls/leia are g11 & my chirrut is g12 (he gained over 9000 protection with g12 btw) and leia just melted the opposition. This ended vs. a zarris team btw

Leia is my next g12... i know she is incredible with R2 also... (hence this thread)

So im asking for other ideas that could get more attacks outta leia.

The only other characters that i can think of would be thrawn, jyn & first order officer to give her more turns. So I'll be experimenting with them. But any other ideas to get more attacks outta leia?

But does anyone think one valid new meta is how many attacks you get your leia?
  • GK lead, jedi counsular, ahsoka (padawan), ezra, leia. Yes I know JC sucks but he has a 2-3 cooldown heal, ahsoka has a 3 turn heal, ezra has a target assist, and GK has team attack and makes the whole thing possible. U could also use tarkin instead of leia and see how much dmg u can get out of him.

    It's interesting to see which characters got a boost in Protection and Health. For arena you are going to see a shift towards those characters just like it happened with Droids, Rey, (Wiggs, Chirrut, QGJ, Maul, to name a few)
  • No doubt about it now... the +20 armor pieces are protection increases, very big increases...

    For instance i got 9k protection on chirrut and closer to 10k protection on my rex

    Now granted there moded for protection to make em sturdier in arena, but didnt change the mods, they just amplified that boost.

  • If we are talking full gear 12, I'm thinking GK, HeYo, Ezra, CLS and r2 wouldn't be bad.
  • Obviously everyone will be using Gammorrean Guard, he is now the character with the highest amount of health :P

    I was thinking this team, but with Zariss instead of CLS. If Hermit Yoda calls everyone to assist on his basic... the whole team would be attacking on nearly every turn haha: GK's ability, Zariss's heal, Hermit Yoda's basic, and Ezra calling in Hermit Yoda to assist

    GK lead only works if it is a special ability, so Yoda won't call anyone to assist with his basic
  • That's a great defensive team, but where will your damage come from? You have to do more than stay alive, you have to kill the enemy.

    The main draw to this team is every toon can call a team assist. Its second strength is 4 out of the 5 toons can team heal. Their heals are also going to be more potent due to GK's leader boosting their hp by 30%. They all get 70% defense from GK. And Zariss unique heals them too and also buffing team defense up.

    Here is where the theory craft comes into play since noone can test this yet. I am assuming this team is make or break depending on how Hermit Yoda plays his Masters Training. He will clearly get one off due to his speed and evasion. The cooldown is 3. Since Masters Training stealths him with 100% evasion, a question is, can Baze aoe dispel his stealth if Yoda evades it? If yes, yoda will be dropped. If no, I suspect this team is defensive enough to survive long enough for Hermit to reload Masters Training. (However, I do believe Assaj could dispel Yodas stealth since its not an attack, so she could be a Hermit hard counter.)

    Once this team has 2 toons with Masters Training, their wet noodleness will go down a bit and maybe they will hit like regular noodles instead. Idk if 3 toons would make it to Masters Training in arena. Thats 9 turns. But perhaps it is possible. MT also gives 50% defense so thats 120% defense with GK lead, plus Zariss unique, plus 4 toons team healing, and 30% health bump and GK tanking. Thats a LOT of defense. Like a ton.

    If by chance 3 toons make it to Masters Training it wont be soley due to Hermits survivability but rather the team as a whole. Hermit will be stealthed for most of the fight. Ashoka is gonna hit like a truck, zariss a wet noodle, Lumi a regular noodle, GK a regular noodle and hermit not hitting at all.

    So the questions will be: Can Hermit spread MT fast enough? Will MT offense bonus paired with frequent team assists compensate for the individual toons lack of power? Or will hermit just be a liability on this team?

  • Hoda is gonna be a wild card... we still don't know what he is capable of... bit that team makes me wonder since i dont have GK...

    Does GK leads group attack thing trigger on Aayla's special? It does heal...
