Galactic Conquest 4 - Sector 3 Boss

Has anyone managed to get past this? No matter how many kills i make I can't win. They are though counting towards the Event feat.

Is anyone else having an issue with this? No matter how many enemies I defeat (+100 with SLKR) I'm never able to win!
