Why do you think Malak is necessary? He doesn't regain protection under SEE. Go for Sith Trooper and the Triumvirate.
I don't think it's possible to lose to JML so he has his place in squad arena. He's a bit disappointing in raids but you can get 7 or 8 million in phase 4 of the sith raid.
