I should give credit where credit is due and point out that partway through my testing, I stumbled across <> which lays out the Galactic Power values for the various contributing factors. Once I confirmed that all his values agreed with my testing, all I had to do was incorporate the cost and RoI for the various sources.
Then I had to make it a bit more reader-friendly and shareable, first for my guild and then for the forums.

I didnt see anything on ships or the extra GP that "crew members" (for whom you have their ships activated) gain. Do you plan on adding ships?

Crew member GP is very easy to calculate. Just take the character GP for the crewmember and multiply it by the ship's star rating bonus (1.5x at 7*, for example). For ships with two crew members, each one is also multiplied by 0.6. For ships with three crew members, each one is also multiplied by 0.4.
Actual ship GP... I might add that sometime when I have free time. Thanks for the suggestion!
