Galactic War Problems

Each day , hardness in GW increases for me.
Today i met a squad that's impossible to beat with my squad.
My squad :
Wedge lead gear 8 all 5 dot health mods , rebel heroism and focused fire maxed out.
Biggs gear 8 , all 5 dot health mods , all abilities level7.
Lando gear 8 , all 5 dot health mods , first 2 abilities 7 level last 2 maxed out .
Princess Leia gear 7 , all 5 dot health mods , 1 ability maxed other 7 level ,
Boba Fett , gear 7 , all 5 dot health mods

Example squad i met on GW:
wedge lead , boba fett , base malbus, biggs , chirrut imwe

Abilities upgraded , health and crit damage and crit chance mods 5 tier , rare mods

I don't know how to beat that kind of team.
Please help me if you can.

Okay , when i get him , should i gear him , level him up and give him best mods?

Yes. He almost always be your fastest character. Maybe Vader as an exception. Argument could be made for R2, but probably Thrawn.

    Is 5 star thrawn viable?

Do you have a SWGOH.gg profile to check your roster? Quite frequently, I had to use 2 or 3 teams to beat nodes 11 and 12. It's gotten better now, ever since I was able to have both a strong Empire and rebel team.

Edit: In that kind of setups, I would try different approaches while on Airplane Mode, but my best results came when Boba Fett wiped out Chirrut with a wrist rocket. That requires higher gear for Boba, and it's important to have lots of dots applied to him before he even moves. Boba is key because he is unaffected by Baze's taunt. Alternatively, Boba's execute can remove taunt from Baze, and then you can use Biggs combined attack vs. Chirrut. It's possible your team can die while still taking out 2 enemies. That could be a decent enough outcome, potentially. I would need to see your roster and recommend a setup for the first squad and the 2nd team. If you have enough roster depth, a second team could wipe out the remaining 3 enemies.

Consider backing down your arena team to a lower level to make the GW nodes easier. Once you get to your 150 GW wins, then focus on arena again. Some may not agree with it, but something to consider.

You do realize that is the worst possible advice you can give anyone? Like you are literally so wrong that even being right about the wins to sim Gw can't save your post.

Arena ranking has absolutely ZERO to do with Gw nodes in anyway shape or form
  • Right now problem is i dont have a way to defeat gear 10 and unita like CLS,GAT etc..
Here is my roster : https://swgoh.gg/u/ishmozthepresident/collection/
  • I checked your roster, you have a very nice selection of characters but I agree that you need to gear up your main toons. How you manage to do it is going to depend on currency and crystal availability, etc. Whether you get a good amount of crystals each day or not really affects the progression in this game. If you're F2P and for different factors dont have access to free crystals regularly, it complcates everything.

I personally get most of my crystals ranking top 2 in fleets every day, which alows me to do plenty of energy and cantina energy refrshes to farm characters as well as gear. I invested heavily on pilots before ships, mainly my Imperial, rebel and First Order characters piloting those ships (Tarkin, TFP, Biggs, Wedge, Fo Tie pilot, Boba Fett, Vader, KRU). These guys are also invaluable in other areas of the game, including GW.

Some people I thought it was a bad idea to do this before I had Phoenix maxed. Lol. With the hundreds of crystals obtained via fleets, I farmed Phoenix very quickly, all at the same time. Many guildmates are now following my plan after hitting level 60.

When I got in GW trouble due to gear level disparity, I used guild currency from raids etc to get gear that was very difficult or slow to farm by other means. I got my top 10 characters from gear 8 to 10 pretty quickly once I got a farming plan and a good amount of guild currency coming my way via Heroic raids and guild events.

Secure a way to get crystals if you don't have one, you will notice that overall roster strength improves as a logical consequence of this planning. In order to give you far more specific tips, I would need to have a deeper knowledge of you current status in the game, beyond your roster composition.
