Hi all, after opening 2 tickets with EA and listened to a lot of "its your business", I just wanna understand how it works.I quit playing for some months, when I restarted, obviously, i was in a server with players much stronger then me, some of them with 1.5M GP more then me, this way for me its' very difficult to earn crystals and farm characters, aka no game progressing.In order to keep the track, especially within my guild, I see myself very frustrated for lack of crystals, even with a good roster, In my opinion my account should be in a proper server shard, since there is no point to make gaming more difficult then it is, but EA answered me " take a look on line on forums, maybe some dev will listen to you, we don't have any clue with it."So, if I'm buying crystals, EA grab the money, if I ask help to solve a problem before uninstalling it became just my business, good approach indeed, congratulations :smiley: Is there any other case like this just to understand if keep on playing or not ? Are there devs able or interested to make this clear please ?thank u all in advance.

You can’t switch arena shards. If you want to be more competitive in arena you’ll have to wait a few months while you build stronger teams and get faster mods, or you can start over.

Your options are to restart or suck it up. You choice to take a break does not create a requirement to move you to a less mature shard/leaderboard. Doing so would create a floodgate issues that are significantly more valid than yours. For example, why should newer players have older players dumped in their arena? Especially if they are doing their best to be competitive and not taking time off?

Total GP means nothing in squad arena, just the squad/s you run. So farm some mods and wait for the meta to shift. If you follow the forums you can get a fairly decent idea of whats coming and start building for it, presto your back in the running

I came back after a few months of not playing. I wasn't even competitive when I stopped playing.Came back, got smart, beat past all the old accounts to the top 500. Gradually have gotten higher and higher. Got lucky cuz I had a good base for a palp team when he was meta, and was able to hit top 60. I just got Revan and I'm in the top 50 (probably till GG comes, but whatever)Point is, it's possible to get a decent crystal income after some time without starting over. Just takes some time

You can still progress. I took a 14 month break from my alt account and believe I do OK. It took some time to fight my way back (a young flert shard helped), but it's doable. Reaching top squad arena ranks, will take a long time and some foresight when new METAs are introduced, however.

You ARE in a proper arena shard. Taking a break was your own choice. Why should you be given an advantage over other players, who played consistently? They earned their ranks. You need to earn yours too. Moving you to a younger shard would not be fair to those already in that shard. Why should you have the opportunity to push others down on your new shard?

And how about next time you take a break. Should you be moved to a younger shard again?

So, if I'm buying crystals, EA grab the money,

And if you take a break from the game, other players on your shard keep playing and developing their rosters.

Support directed you here because nothing about this is a support issue.

The dev team have stated they do not and have no intentions of moving people or merging shards.

The structure we have groups people by starting time to keep things fair, if someone invests (time or $$) they get an advantage. If someone takes a break or doesnt stay current, for any reason, they will likely be at a "disadvantage". This will not change, it's one of the basic tenant of the game.

Unfortunately I didn't choose to take a break.
I'm not willing to be moved somewhere in order to be more competitive in shards, but for sure I can't have much fun fighting with players which could spent several months more then me farming characters.My post was to understand how it works, and u gave me 2 of the 3 choices I evaluated, third one : quitting game and give money to somebody else, not for bad feeling, just to have a normal fun.

Do whatever is more fun for you. If you prefer starting over instead of keeping your current progress, then by all means, do so. Have fun.
