^^ this right here. I'd like a dev response about this. He's unusable at the moment, and it's painstakingly obvious in the current META. Out of every thread I've found about General Grievous here on the forums, every person has deduced that he needs a buff. Coincidence? I think not devs, hurry up and give him some attention as this has gone on for many months.

Wind your neck in sweatheart. I know a thing or two about this character (and droids too, as it happens) and if you've read anything I've written you wouldn't have such a misinformed opinion.

You can read as much as you want from theory-crafters but it's probably the guys who have had him at 7* for the past nine months who's opinion you should listen too...

You're asking for a dev response when you clearly don't even have the toon. Devs, in case you hadn't worked out, can use Grievous in any team, at any level. If they do this, they'll probably see that he's a decent damage dealer with a whole load of utility. Sure, I'd love to have him cause more damage but then everyone wishes that for their favourite toons.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Just because lots of people say the same thing, it doesn't make them more right.

@EA_allthedevs No need to worry about Grievous - we can work with him. Spend your time looking at the Chaze synergy and Rogue One toons instead. They're the biggest current issue.

It's honestly funny because you didn't even do any research for yourself. It took me 15 minutes to gather all of those sources and the list could still go on. Additionally, if many people are generally coming to the same consensus it's generally a good indicator that there is something wrong. I don't understand your logic... So @EA_allthedevs, I implore you all to take a look and fix him.

Well done. You definitely earned a biscuit with that lot. I'd love to prepare an equally eloquent response but you've done most of my work for me.

I can explain my logic to you but I can't understand it for you. My main point is very simple: Unless you have thrown a character into myriad situations, gotten the most out of any mod configurations and maxed him out in every way, then all you have to go on are the equally ill-informed voices of discontent.

I don't doubt that you've quoted several sources who will have been through a similar process. I'm not surprised that there are plenty of those who still haven't made him work for them. But you haven't even been through that process. You have, however, quoted several sources who quite clearly have an opinion on 'what they read'. That's cool - reading's easy.

Ultimately, you can quote as many sources as you want as it highlights my original point beautifully:

I made him work. It wasn't easy. If I can do it, anyone can. And I'm happy to let anyone reading this know... because if they're still reading, then they probably should know.

As you bravely undermined your own argument by showing your 4* lvl62 Grievous in your collection, it's only fair I validate my own by doing the same.

So you're saying because you've geared Grievous out to the maximum amount and utilized him in as many squads as possible, your opinion is of the highest regard? Well it makes sense that you believe Grievous doesn't need a buff. Clearly, General Grievous with absolutely maxed gear, mods, and droid heroes surrounding him, he becomes somewhat viable. You "made him work" and "it wasn't easy". Well what about all the rest of the heroes? Most of them don't require this much work (Gear XI, 7 stars of brutal farming, and mods). If I put other "squad arena viable" heroes together in their max configurations they would tear Grievous a new one. My point here is that he underperforms in comparison to many many other heroes. It's in the stats, go to 7:01 in AhnaldT101's video I linked.

It's true you've had more experience with grievous than I, but I don't believe you can invalidate the claims of all the sources I listed. AhnaldT101's video is probably the most thorough and accurate of the bunch (though he does have him at 4*). I really believe his video embodies most of the claims I've read including my own.

I'm not saying that Grievous is garbage. He does have an "interesting kit" and a few good upsides. What I'm lobbying for is a rework to his leader ability, a bit of a speed buff, and maybe a minor change to his "Sinister laugh" ability.
