I'll just subtly point out that the only non-rebel faction in the game with enough ships to support another legendary ship event is the Galactic Republic - who would be the logical choice for a legendary event to get the Malevolence.

If thats the case, I will definitely be ready as I have a g11 Mace and primarily use the Republic ships in the Fleet Arena.

I would advise unlocking him through the Fleet shop instead which is what I did as soon as he was released there. The shard shop is better for you to get some good gear from there.
