play any lightside battle with the specific character you want to lend as LEADER. You only lend your last used leader on that type of battle your ally will play.
If you play cantina 1-A with GK lead, your allies will borrow your GK in any of their cantina nodes.
If you play lightside 5-D Normal with GK lead your allies will be able to borrow your GK in any of their lightside (normal/hard) battles
