Gimped myself?

There’s a credit crunch that early in the game, I had a massive one until about level 80 honestly.

If you’re spending money, you can’t really spend too much too soon. Phoenix teams are pretty great at that level. Kinda sucks you went against one on your first node.

GW also isn’t a great gauge on how you’re progressing. It forces you to diversify your roster instead of just focusing on one team. Just keep plugging away and don’t worry about GW too much, it’ll come eventually.

I should also clarify: I had a credit crunch until level 80 because I tried to have too many teams built up at once. Focus on two, a light side and a dark side team.

I have 3.4 million GP and I still struggle with credits.

I'm in a very similar situation. Yesterday I was up against a full 7* nightsister team 8 levels above my own on the 2nd GW node. Tonight it was a lot easier though, and I've had weeks where I finished GW every single night. I guess it's just tough luck sometimes.

If you have 7-starred Bastila and a few other characters, you've already accomplished more than I did :) I just turned 70 and don't have a single 7* toon so far because I've decided to leave my top teams alone for now and work on my criminally neglected Phoenix crew. Incidentally, that seems to make GW a bit easier most of the time. I read that the strength of your opponents is based on your top 5 characters.

PS: If you invest more $ to play catch-up, I found the single best way to progress is to just buy crystals and use them to buy credits, refresh energy to farm gear, or refresh the shipments to buy gear for credits.

That’s true, I k low for shards at least. Many people have tracked farming odds data and compared them to the price of shards per crystal in the shops for the premium characters (80 crystals per shard). It’s more lucrative to buy crystals and use them for the first 3 energy refreshes for every energy form.

This helps, but it doesn't eliminate the issue. Average payout for 2 runs is somewhere in the realm of 5-7.5M. It costs 6.5M just to take a single toon to 85.

Don't need lvl 85 toons to clear it or even 3* it. >:)

Unless you spend a lot of $ on crystals to buy credits with you will always have this issue. At least the heist is there to help supplement you. I for one am glad for it, and I'm not even able to clear the top tier yet.
