GL Rey Squad ultimate blocker in TW?

I'm not going to go into is it OP etc. Too late for that. She's out, players are doing/spending what it takes to get her. That won't change. Now, all that out of the way, what is a good squad to counter GL Rey 7*, r7, 5 zetas, New POE 7* r7, Finn 7* r7, GK, DMalak? (yeah odd looking but it is what it is?). Is there a viable counter or do we just concede and go watch TV? Honestly asking, is that team game over, they win we lose on any node where it is placed? Which, as time goes by any Guild with several pretty much owns those without?

Replies saying our guild needs to get good, just result in ignore. So whatever floats your boat lol

    Yes, there are counters, and many youtubers have provided videos on the various options against various comps. I am not familiar enough with all of them for that comp to be much more helpful but I do have this general advice:

    If you and your guild thinks that a singular character on the other team makes the matchup a mismatch, that is not a matchmaking issue but rather a guild preparedness issue. A guild has 3 choices: Get , build counters, or lose.

    You a) didn't say what squad you used, if it was a mirror match or a slkr ultimate that doesn't really help and b) that's a much weaker team than what the op stated.

    Your best bet op might be to cheese her... Bring in scrub toons that she will use lifeblood and bring herself down below 50% after a few times, then bring in relic jkr, gas, Thrawn, +2 (hermit yoda, wat both work well,the goal is to make gas as strong as possible to kill her, then the other 4 aren't easy but are manageable).

    Well we made a comeback, GLRey squad is history. Thanks for the suggestions. Proud of our members, considering what we faced, they came back strong. No win, but no disgrace either.

    Oh, it should be said and understood, I am not upset with the guild we face. They are playing the game as it is and making use of how things work. They did the work, spent the coin, and deserve to win. It's a mismach but, that won't change.

    Well, GAS is a long range farm, but something to add to the todo list. Still working on unlocking DM lol But thank you for the suggestion. @WookieWookie how does Airplane mode play a part in TW?
