Grand arena defense strategy

Question

While I have a large variety of toons 7 starred and geared enough to handle both defensive and attack portions of ga I tend to leave my slightly underpowered toons to serve on defense while I use my stronger allies on the offense. Should I stick to my strategy of weaker defense and stronger offense or aim for better defense?

Are you winning? If so dont change. If your being blasted switch a team or 2 over onto D. I focus a few strong teams onto D and save the rest for offence

I have 4 strong D teams. G12 Scoundrels and BH, G8-9 FO and Bastilla. Rest for O.  Ive won every 5v5 and gotten 2nd bracket in every 3v3. Maybe I need a better 3v3 strat.
