Arena: He is amazing in arena. I took 1st today off of one battle. He can be lead or just a regular guy. Probably the most under used leads right now.
GW: In GW his TMR is great. GW is pretty much a non factor but he is heckin good at it.
Raids: Well he obviously is worth it here. He is great vs the Rancor and is part of the solo p3 team. Even outside of those God-like p3 squads he still slots in to the regular ones.
Ships: he is pretty much op and could almost use a nerf.
Acquiring him: His shards are heckin easy to get. His gear is very friendly. He has been out forever and doesn't have the slighted paywall. His zeta's are garbage so he requires no mats.

I don't disagree Tarkin is good, but clearly your shard is soft. Not sure how meaningful it is that
Overnight you drop no further than 1 battle to retake 1st. If I were you, I'd drop that part. Many run Tarkin on my shard, and they drop just like anyone else, so in Arena, Tarkin is not the savior.
It's the collusion paired with the fact that I have some pretty neat mods. But with those same mods on that same shard I was falling to about 15th with Rex lead.
Like I said Tarkin is great, but readers shouldn't be misled that he is an arena savior. He as good as any other top 10 toon. At the top of elite shards, there are many different comps that can be used. For example, I don't run Tarkin and I do just fine against those that do.
