What I got told to do was send your A team in on the first 'easier' battle and load their turn meters up then run your B and C squads as far as you can after that. If you can get to the last battle or two bring in your A team again. You'll get your shots off first as they're turn meters will be full and should be easier to take out as many as possible. Then send in the rest to mop up if needed.
