- Top team is fully (close to fully geared) and build around all-out attack:
7* IG 88
7* Lumi
5* FOO
5* RP
4* FOTP
all at L70
Interchange on the bench are:
4* L70 JC
4* L69 Phas
4* L60 Eeth
4* L61 Vader
4* L65 Poe
+ assorted mid-level toons lower
obv a much harder challenge now and completion rate has dropped dramatically (though I have finished a couple last week, sacrificing Poe or the Wookie along the way)
Biggest issue seems to be how ridiculously rare AI toons are 7* and so hit sooner & harder
Broad-based leveling up will be too exp/take too long/too many droids/credits so am thinking strategy
Keep getting hit with Dooku double stuns, 7* Vader DoT, Sid's heal block etc and the brute force route leaves me with a depleted team on avg after node 7 but today node 3 is real struggle
So am going to try to farm Lobot to debuff (though he's kinda slow) and protect my battering ram rest of the squad
Will let you know how it goes "GizOne;161757" wrote:
My main team is Lumi lead, JC, Rey, GS, and a fifth character that can be QGJ or Sid, depends on if there is Dooku on the opposite side or not.
I don't have a "B" team, rather many backup characters that I can use in particular situations or if one of my toons died : Barris if I did not manage well my healers cooldowns, Chewie and Poe if I need to sacrifice a taunter against a particular difficult team, Phasma, Daka, Talia and Ventress. And many lvl 40 or so toons that I can use as a suicide team.
This is more or less what I do as well. On my primary account, I start off with a damage-focused team + JC and try and eliminate the enemy before they have a chance to do much. On the easier early nodes, this works great. I can usually get to the midpoint of GW before needing much more than the occasional heal. Once I start to take damage, I sub out one of my damage-focused chars for Lumi to get an additional heal in there. Every once in a while, I end up needing to throw Talia onto a team for an emergency heal. I don't run a 'B' team. I will throw in a Chewie-led group of scrubs to eat the AI special abilities when necessary. I save my better non-used characters such as the rest of my Jedi team, just in case one of my primary characters dies, which they rarely do.
On my 2nd account I run a droid team + Poggle and Poe in arena. For GW, I swap in JC for Poggle, and GS for Poe. I hold Poe in reserve to suicide on a later hard battle if necessary, and Poggle can swap in if a primary dies. Talia is my only other healer on this account, so I occasionally throw her in for an emergency heal. I just drew a 4-star Barris out of a Bronzium last night though, so I may try and work her in somehow, Again, no b-team. Suicide scrubs when needed.- I've recently moved to a whole new team. My previous team consisted of Lumi, Dooku, Sid, Kylo, Barris - all 7 starred, level 70, 8 Gear.
Now I am running with QGJ (6*), Rey (5*), Leia (4*), Yoda (5*), and Lumi (7*) - All 7 Starred 8 Gear.
Depending on how late in the battle I use Lumi's heal, I will swap Barriss in for Leia so that I have a heal available when needed. - A Team: Barris(L), QGJ, Luminara, Old Daka, Count Dooku
B Team: Sidious(L), Biggs, Luke, Eeth Koth, JC
To be honest though, usually I never use the B team as a team, I just sub them in where needed (Sidious vs Healers or Jedi; Koth vs Droids or if I need a quick stun; Biggs if I need a damage boost, etc). - OK so I just geared Lobot up to a 51 3* and boy was that useful in GW:
Midway through ran into a 70 7* tooled team, got Sid's special, Vader's special and that gave me back 100% health. My 4* FOTP 5* RP, 7* 88 and 7* Lumi mopped up (and didn't have to spend a heal on it)
I expect same is possible with Ackbar (who is also marginally faster than admittedly Slo-Bot)
