I'm working on an AA, CLS, BB8, Thrawn, Ventress team for HAAT. What's the minimum gear they'll need? CLS and Thrawn are both g12, rest are a bit lagging because I just switched from going with phase-specific teams to this one (Clones, Chirpatine, etc. Clones would need a bit more gear and the zeta on Cody, maybe Leia too if that's necessary, Chirpatine just needs a little more Chirpa shards) BB8 is only 6* atm, planning on having him and the other two g10 minimum by the time he's star eligible. I have a bad case of ADD when it comes to farming, so I already put the zeta on Ventress' unique; CLS has his unique up as well.https://swgoh.gg/u/doktopusTL;DR: Not necessarily going for a solo. I've been with the same guild since I started in December 2016 and I'm just looking to help get us to the finish line. Have lost some good guys that had been in the guild a long time because of our lack of GK shards (Sith is still faaaar off lol). Only 35 in the guild now. We still have quite a few 1.5 mil+ GP guys, and most are focused.Forgive me if I used TL;DR incorrectly lol

I'd suggest to have BB8 and Assaj at g11 for that extra protection. I experienced loosing them to the canon shot at g10. Ackbar doesn't need more gear. In fact it's better to just remove all mods fro him before the battle. Having him die early will help you.

Could someone explain how this team works or post a link to a video please?

Zetas on IBAT and Han's unique help a lot, Han's might be necessary. Not too sure. Idk if counting on a retreat if you need them for something else later is a good plan though, unless losing them isn't a big deal. Still the most efficient way to take out p1, outside of one of the crazy complete haat solo teams.

Prob a noob question but I haven't attempted this yet, I heard CLS and Raid Han can Solo phase 1. If I am able to do that, would I be able to retreat as soon phase two begins without losing the points for phase 1?

*I'm an officer in my guild and am trying to take us to HAAT, all of this advice has been very helpful!

Try escape before the phase ends as I’m sure (although don’t quote me) that the escape counter goes back up to 8 when going in to the next phase. If that true and I’ve remembered correctly, you probably won’t be getting out of p2 escape-wise.

If you’ve a decent CLS, just use him on his own, and do the attack/retreat method and you’ll have p1 covered with 1 toon :)

It's attack/escape. Retreat is like starting over... points are not counted and your toon goes back to the original health/status that it started the session with.

Yep. Took me until after I posted to catch that. Wasn't sure if the guy just used the wrong word or if he actually meant retreat.

Thanks! Yeah it was actually that noob of a question! lol. I did mean to say retreat. I was just unsure if after you completed a phase, the progress was automatically recorded to the raid so you could actually use the retreat option to save your characters and begin the new phase with a different/more appropriate team like Resistance.
In better words, I was wondering if the "lose all progress" was only applicable to the current phase.
