Yep. I've learned the hard way you have to be careful with your leader abilities. I was going insane stunning Thrawn under Rex leads only to have him immediately unstun and fracture me before anyone went. Then I realized the crit hits of my rebels sped them up. I especially hate facing teams with Rex, Chirrut, and Thrawn because you can either take off Thrawn's protection with your opening double tap or hit the fastest of the cleansers and do the same. They're a frustration to Han.
Similar situation with CLS lead.
Han Solo's zeta is a great advantage in most cases, but in this instance you have to be especially careful as it approaches a liability for that first shot. Instead of a stun, just plan on getting the opening shot and determine who would best be served by removing protection. I'll often do the weakest member so I can take them out with an AOE shot once my Han triggers both TM increase and auto-taunt. That way I still get my 5-4 advantage - it just takes a bit longer and some additional planning.
I call that good balance
